The types of large-scale crushing equipment

Jaw crusher: Known for its powerful crushing force, wide feeding range, high stability, and wear resistance. It is mainly responsible for coarse crushing operations and can quickly process the mined large ore into medium-sized stones, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent crushing stage.
Impact crusher: Adopting the principle of impact crushing, the crushed product is cubic, with low stone powder content and relatively low energy consumption. It is commonly used in the medium ad fine crushing stage of production line, especially suitable for processing soft rock materials with low to medium hardness, such as limestone, dolomite etc.
Cone crusher: It is widely praised for its layered crushing technology, high efficiency, wear resistance, durability, low operating costs, and simple operation. It is also suitable for medium and fine crushing operations, but is better at handling high hardness materials such as granite, basalt, etc


 
Common large-scale crushed stone production line processes
In order to meet the requirements of different particle sizes of crushed stone products, a complete technological process is usually adopted  for large-scale crushed stone production lines, including vibrating feeding, coarse crushing, secondary crushing, and screening and grading.
Firstly, the vibrating feeder is responsible for removing dirt and soil from the raw materials, ensuring that the materials entering the crusher are pure and free of impurities. Subsequently, the jaw crusher began the coarse crushing operation, crushing large pieces of materials into smaller particles. After being processed by a jaw crusher, the stone is sent to impact crusher or cone crusher for secondary crushing through a belt conveyor.
In the secondary crushing stage, the material is further refined to meet the required particle size requirements. After that, the crushed materials are sent to a circular screening machine for screening and grading. During this process, materials that meet the particle size standards will be directly transported to the material pile for storage or transportation; Materials that do not meet the requirements will be returned to the next level crusher for further crushing until they meet the particle size requirements.
